In July in the Translators' House: Inese Paklone and Sanna van Leeuwen

In July Inese Paklone is staying in the Translators' House. In the second part of July we also welcome Sanna van Leeuwen in the Translators' House. 

 


Inese Paklone is literary translator Dutch-Latvian. She translated amongst others work by Toon Tellegen, Carl Norac and Annie M.G. Schmidt. In the Translators' House she will be working on her translation of poetry by Joke van Leeuwen. 

 

Sanna van Leeuwen is literary translator into Finnish from German, English and Dutch. In 2016 she translated 'Een dwaze maagd' by Ida Simons. Previously she translated work by Kader Abdolah and Herman Koch. In the Translators' House she will be working on her translation of 'Pogingen iets van het leven te maken' by Hendrik Groen.
