The Flemish Literature Fund supports Dutch-language literature in Belgium and abroad.
From 12 to 14 March, young Flemish poets Els Moors and Paul Bogaert will be guests in the German city of Leipzig.
Moors and Bogaert have been invited by the Leipzig-based literary periodical Edit. Edit is organising various poetry programmes with Moors, Bogaert and a number of other foreign and German poets. There will be two poetry evenings at the international literature festival Leipzig Liest as well as a poetry programme at the Leipziger Buchmesse.
Bogaert is by no means a stranger in the German-speaking world. Translations of his work have on several occasions been published in the periodical Schreibheft, and the Austrian Zwischen den Zeilen has published a complete translation of the collection ‘Circular Systems'.
Els Moors is visiting Germany as a guest for the first time, where she will come with translations that Gregor Seferens has made of her work.
