Paul Verhaeghen to attend Jewish Book Week

This year, the London Jewish Book Week festival has invited Paul Verhaeghen, who will be doing a public reading from his novel 'Omega Minor' on March 1st, 2009.

 

 

 


Verhaeghen_uitreiking IFFP.jpgJewish Book Week is an important literary festival attracting around 10,000 visitors annually who come to listen to such prestigious authors as David Grossman, Oliver Sacks, Imre Kertesz, Salman Rushdie and Martin Amis. This year, Alberto Manguel and Alain de Botton are among the writers expected to attend.

 

Verhaeghen has already received considerable praise as well as prizes for his novel. Last year, he won the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize. This has meant that extra attention has been paid to the English translation.
