The programme includes intensive practical translation workshops, readings and debates in Dutch. All lecturers are also literary translators.

Literary Translation Summer Course focuses on South America
From 16 to 27 August 2010, the ELV organizes its yearly Literary Translation Summer Course in Antwerp. This year, the course is open to translators from Dutch into Portuguese and Spanish, both with a focus on South America.
Per language, a group of 6 to 7 students will be formed. A selection procedure, including a sample translation, will determine which candidates will attend the course.
