Illustrators from all over the world were invited to send in three original illustrations, which have either never or only recently (in the past two years) been published. A renowned jury made the final selection which will be on show at the Museu da Electricidade in Lisbon.

The winner of the 2007 edition was Susanne Janssen (Germany). Isabelle Vandenabeele earned three special mentions that year. Amongst the other 48 selected artists were Carll Cneut, Gerda Dendooven, Ingrid Godon, Anne Herbauts, Ann Kestens and Julie Rener.

Flemish art has a special place in the heart of Eduardo Felipe, who organizes the event. He previously worked with the Flemish Literature Fund to show its exhibition of Flemish illustrators called ‘Colouring outside the lines' in Barreiro. He also organizes workshops for international students in Lisbon.
