Some more comics artists were celebrated. Stedho, nominated for his short stories ‘b.o.x.' and ‘Niwa-Nyoto-Ryoan', got an honourable mention for ‘the way he graphically reinvents himself time and again'. ‘Zuiverend vuur' (Purifying fire) by Pieter Rosseel and Peter Moerenhout won the public's vote.
The Plastieken Plunk award is organized by comics reviews Pulp Deluxe and Plots to draw attention to Flemish short comics stories.
