Leo Pleysier in Absinthe #11

The latest issue of the American literary review Absinthe features a extract from ‘Wit is altijd schoon' (White is always clean) by Flemish writer Leo Pleysier. It was translated by Hester Velmans, who has translated numerous Dutch-language books for English and American publishers. ‘The Angel Maker' by Stefan Brijs, to name a recent one.

Absinthe is a print journal featuring the best contemporary European writers. It is published bi-annually in the spring and fall.
