The festival is organized by Scritturapura, the Italian publishing house that has previously picked up ‘Louis Armstrong'. Now, a translation of ‘Snapshots' is in the works.
50 events with over 30 international comics artists are planned throughout the ten-day festival. The events are spread between Monferrato, Asti and Portacomaro in the Piemonte region.
The Flemish Literature Fund will be present at the festival and supports Philip Paquet by means of a travel grant and translation grants for the above mentioned graphic novels.
