The Flemish Literature Fund supports Dutch-language literature in Belgium and abroad.
Lieve Joris will be in Oslo from 10 to 13 June to present the Norwegian translation of ‘Dans van de luipaard' (Dance of the leopard) published by Aschehoug. It is her first novel to be translated into Norwegian.
Joris will give a reading and interviews at the House of Literature in Oslo. She will furthermore attend a seminar which is organized by her publisher.
‘Dans van de luipaard' is one of Joris' many books on Congo. A French translation and a German one have previously been published by Actes Sud and Piper/Malik respectively.
The Flemish Literature Fund provides financial support for Joris' trip and the translation of her novel.
