News: Peter Theunynck in the picture on Poetry International Web
In its February issue, the international poetry website Poetry International Web will focus on Flemish poet Peter Theunynck. Willem Groenewegen translated a selection from a number of poetry collections into English, amongst others the poem ‘Nijlpaarden' (‘Hippopotami') from the prize-winning collection ‘Man in Manhattan'. Poet, critic and editor Kurt De Boodt wrote a portrait of the writer.
Theunyck's poem ‘Moeder' (Mother) was chosen as poem of the week.
